Our management and staff personnel are very experienced working in the fields of Production, Procurement, Processing, Threshing/Re-drying, Storing, Shipment, etc. at different units. We procure mainly from the growers directly at our different buying point/centers which remain under our record within commanding areas.

Starting way back in the 1938 few would have believed a small trading entity would eventually span out to become a vibrant diversified, transnational group that it is today. GLTCL has always maintained the utmost quality in local and export market. The pioneering mindset of Our Group was unmistakable since inception when the company developed the first Tendu Leaf Bidi ever made and created a whole new industry segment. This paper Bidi industry today is valued at US $125 million and provides employment to 1.2 million households. The group capitalized on the success and spotted the shifting trend to cigarettes and was the first privately held local entity to establish a machine made cigarette factory in the region. The business went on to create legendary brands like ‘Silver Smoke’ and ‘Ramna’ which were top sellers for well over two decades. Though well executed timely backward integration its extensive marketing network built with the help of its tobacco products the group is diversifying into several other FMCG products and becoming a major player of its time.
